Friends With You – About the artist
Founded in Miami in 2002, Friends With You is a Los Angeles based art collective, comprising Samuel Albert Borkson and Arturi Sandoval. Their mission motto is ‘Magic, Luck and Friendship’ which is intended to and does shine through in their work. Their collaboration began by creating soft sculptures and immersive art installations. They work across many mediums and produce fine art works including sculpture and paintings. Recognised internationally for their large scale public art installations, playgrounds and performance pieces much of their work features fun and playful character design for which they are truly loved!
Friends With You have exhibited worldwide and are included in the permanent collections of Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), The Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA)Haus der Kulturen der Welt Museum Berlin and Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin among others.
